1979-80 Canucks


STAN SMYL

Stan was the heart and soul of the Canucks for much of the 1980s. He was the first Canuck to have his number officially retired and scored a career high 88 points in 1982-83.

DARCY ROTA

Darcy was a top player for Vancouver during his 4.5 year stay. He was acquired from Atlanta with Ivan Boldirev for Don Lever and Brad Smith and scored a career high 81 points in 1982-83.

DAVE LOGAN

Dave played parts of 2 seasons with the Canucks, his last years in the NHL. He came over in a trade for Ron Sedlbauer

BRUCE AFFLECK

Bruce has some really good years with the St. Louis Blues but only played 5 games for Vancouver. He is a 3 time winner of the CHL Top Defenseman award and won the CHL MVP award in 1983-84.
