1971-72 Canucks


RON WARD

Ron had the greatest success of his career in the WHA, where he scored 118 points with the New York Raiders in 1972/73. He also played with the Vancouver Blazers of the WHA.

GREGG BODDY

Gregg was a very solid defenseman who spent 5 seasons with the Canucks starting in 1971. He played 2 years in Japan at the end of his career.

WAYNE CONNELLY


This was Wayne's only season with the Canucks and last in the NHL. He was a pretty consistant player who went on to some very good seasons in the WHA with the Minnesota Fighting Saints.

DALE TALLON

Dale was the Canucks first draft pick and he was selected for Team Canada in the Summit Series. He played a large part in putting together the Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks and is currently GM of the Florida Panthers.

JOCELYN GUEVREMONT


Jocelyn was an excellent defenseman and got off to a great start with the Canucks with a 51 point season as a rookie. He was selected for the Summit Series as well.
